Policies
The Lavender House Bed & Breakfast is an exclusive property where every guest reservation is both important and special to us. If your travel plans change and you must cancel your reservation, please call us at least 3 (three) days prior to your arrival date to cancel your reservation.
In the unlikely event that you must cancel with less than three (3) days notice, shorten your stay or check out early, please understand that we must ask you to take responsibility for your entire reservation. If we can rebook your room(s, a full or partial refund will be made.
Rates/policies are subject to change and vary during high impact periods and special requests. 30 day cancellation notice is required on whole house bookings and for some holidays and special events.
Booking.com Reservations: All Booking.com reservations must be cancelled at both Booking.com and also at Lavender House B & B. Should you omit cancelling at Booking.com you will be charged for your entire reservation because Lavender House has to pay Booking.com commissions on all bookings received via their service.
Lavender House B & B reserves the right to move guests to a different room equal to or exceeding the original reservation should the need arise.
Payment Policy: Please note that no charges are applied to your credit card it is for holding the reservation only. The preferred method of payment is in cash however travellers cheques and U.S dollars are also accepted. If you wish, an invoice via PayPal may be done whereby you can then choose your payment method. There is a 5% administration fee for this service.
Check-in: 3:00 PM - 6:00 PM. Guest check-in time can be flexible so please advise time of arrival. Check in after 9pm must be by prior arrangement and is at the discretion of your hosts.
Check-out: 11:00 AM.
Absolutely No Smoking inside; however designated outdoor smoking areas are available.
A dog may be accepted at the hosts' discretion so please ask.
Mature guests (over the age of 16) are welcome to stay at Lavender House. Unfortunately we are unable to accommodate stay requests for young children. Occasionally exceptions are made so do call about this.
